Mama's Owie

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later...Jackson's head and my nose, colliding together! Monday night this incident occured as I was sitting down onto the floor and my very psychotic, no-nap-for-the-day, son was jumping up from a sitting position in which he held for no longer than a few mili-seconds. There was a definite cracking noise followed by a gush of blood; yep, my nose sure seemed to be broken. Luckily, my mom and grandparents were over for dinner and were able to help clean up the kitchen and take care of the kids while I sat and iced my nose with a frozen bag of veggies. Jackson felt sad he had hurt mommy and asked me "you ok, mommy"? I actually felt fine, but decided to go into urgent care to get an x-ray just to be sure. Turns out, it's just a "chip." The swelling and bruising are so minimal, it isn't even worth me posting a picture. I am fortunate to be left with a small bump on the upper part of my nose and nothing more.
