A Visit from Auntie Laura and cousin Alli

I snapped a few pictures of Laura and Alli while they were down from the cities visiting last week. Alli is just about 8 weeks old in these pictures.




Alli's brace (which she has been wearing to fix her hip dysplasia) is scheduled to come off July 16th.

Visit to Fire Station

We went to Fire Station #1 in La Crosse today. Our friend, Tom, was kind enough to give us a tour and lots of extra little details about being a firefighter. As you can imagine, Jackson had a blast!
The Marso family was able to join us at the fire station, and their oldest daughter, Gwen, also had a blast. Gwen and her sister, Natalie, will be starting daycare with me part-time in the fall.

Whenever Jason gets out his tools to do anything, Jackson always has to get out his tools too. He LOVES helping daddy fix things and build things. I'd say hammering and measuring things with a tape measure are Jackson's two areas of expertise :)

Cooking with Grandma Gundy

Lately, Grandma and Grandpa Gundy have been visiting every Thursday night. Grandma Gundy does the cooking at her house and brings a delicious meal with her every time. One night she decided to save a small part of the food preparation for Jackson and her to finish together, thinking he would enjoy doing that. Well, she was right; he totally got into it!
I was able to capture a few cute pictures of the two of them "cooking" together...

It's been a fun year. I'm hopeful my next year of daycare will go just as well.
Not only will Dawson and Carson be returning with me, but I will also have two girls starting up part-time as well.
