Our first family Christmas celebration was at Grandma Barb's and Grandpa Terry's house in La Crescent.

A few pictures of the girls and Jackson with cousin, Maddy...
I'm blaming the wine for my not capturing pictures of all the family with us on this night...
Grandma Barb and Grandpa Terry, Uncle Ryan and Logan and Maddy, Uncle Zach and Emily, and the Garzee family (Harold, Kristy, Cortney, Cade).
I did, however, manage to snap a few pics of the kids with their gifts from Grams and Gramps.
The girls were lucky enough to each receive an American Girl doll:
Meet Lia's new friend, Ruthie
And, Jessica's friend, Kit
Lucky, lucky boy...his very own Punching Bag
By the end of the night, Jackson is still going strong...learning how to be a pool shark, like Dad.
Lia was still playing, but showing slight signs of tiredness.
And Jessica... @ 7:45 p.m..

Halloween, 2013
Lia went trick-or-treating as the blue power ranger this year. A decision she made after watching a few Power Ranger TV show episodes with her daycare buddies. Luckily, we already owned this costume; all she had to do was dig it out of our dress up box. And, ta-da!...the blue power ranger:
On Halloween morning, we have about eight different families in our neighborhood kind enough to welcome my daycare for trick-or-treating around 9:30a.m..
Jessica was a cowgirl for her costume party at school, as well as trick-or-treating.
JT wore a skeleton costume for the school party (no picture).
And, he was the very scary, ghost face, for trick-or-treating (aka -Lia's words: "yawn face")
We started in Onalaska and ended our Halloween night in La Crescent. All three kids pooped out around 6:45 p.m., and from that point on, they handed out candy, and of course, ate some of their own loot as well.
