Jackson and his BFF, Maverick. Ever since Jackson could walk, he's been enjoying the company of our dog, Maverick. They "play" together all the time, running around the house, wrestling (Jackson climbs on him and mounts him like a horse), and sometimes they just sit there together long enough for me to take their picture. It's true what they say, labs are great dogs around kids...now, only if we could figure out a way to stop his shedding problem, we'd have ourselves a pretty good dog!
The first two pics were, obviously, taken some time ago; the last one, however, was taken just today.

Maverick is absoultely beautiful. Jackson will always have fond memories of his buddy!
I think Grandpa Mark needs a dog. Dogs make you more human. (No, Mark I did not say you were super-human or less than human.) Dogs are the best BFF you can ever have.
