Family advent calendar

This calendar is something Laura and I would enjoy as young girls.
It was made by Grandma Chris, and has now been passed on to our family for Jackson and Jessica (and eventually, Lia) to enjoy.

The idea is for the kids to open a small gift every morning during the month of December. It is a special way for them to count down the days until Christmas.

So far, they have received a wooden puzzle, chapstick, xmas socks, wooden space shuttle and police car...
Jackson gets so eager to open up the next day's gift; he has been getting up at 5:45 in the morning!
