As of this past Monday, I have taken on two more daycare children. My week now looks like this... M/Tu: 3-year-old boy and 6-month-old boy; W: 6-month-old boy; Th: 6-month-old boy and 2-year-old girl; F: no daycare kids, but I'm "on-call" as a back-up for my friend's 2-month-old boy.
I couldn't be happier with the kids I have for daycare; they are wonderful kids! Dawson (3) and Ava (2) get along great with Jackson, and Carson (6 mos) is a perfect "playmate" for Jessica. Even baby Will (2 mos) fits in well with our family routine. Granted...it has only been a week...and a hectic week at that (with Jackson being sick); however, so far - so good! I'm loving being home with my kids and daycare kids; I feel as though I have truly found my niche in life (and, yes, I do plan to go back to teaching once Jessica is in kindergarten). I'm just enjoying every moment while I can.
