If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it.

Look closely at these pictures... Can you tell what Jessica is munching on?

If you guessed a stalk of raw celery, you'd be right!
This was one of those moments for mom when I said to myself, grab the camera and take the picture, otherwise no one will ever believe me.

Bubble wrap: the miracle plastic.

Jackson and Jessica did absolutely fabulous on the car trips to and from the cities. Granted, Jason and I did come prepared with several toys, snacks, DVDs, and bubble wrap. Yep, bubble wrap! The kids kept busy popping those bubbles until their little fingers were too tired to pop any more! It was 20 minutes of peace. If you're ever traveling in a car with little ones, I highly recommend taking the bubble wrap:)

Dad's and Bonnie's Wedding, October 17th, 2009.

Corey Koehler wrote and performed an incredible song for Dad and Bonnie.

Notice Jessica's tennis shoes?...she refused to keep her pretty black shoes on, so this was the next best thing.

The ceremony was held at a cute little church in Prescott, WI. Jason was one of the groomsmen (along with Chris Devine and Bonnie's nephew, Patrick). Laura was one of the bridesmaids (along with Bonnie's best friend, Cindy and one of Bonnie's niece's, Danielle). Jessica slept through the entire ceremony; we had her pack n' play set up in a small side room, just off the main worship hall. Jackson behaved very well throughout the ceremony.
The reception was held at a Country Club on a beautiful golf course in Cottage Grove, MN. The kids had a nice time at the reception - Jackson running around with his "new friends" (Bonnie's niece(s) and her boyfriend), and Jessica had fun just running around :) Unfortunately, niether of the kiddos made it to the dance...they were just SO tired. I ended up taking them back to Laura's and Chris's and putting them to sleep (Laura had her sister-in-law, Elizabeth, with her boyfriend, Chris at the house to babysit Alli) and I went back to enjoy the reception with my hubby, who, as usual, was enjoying himself "a little too much!":)
We had a lovely time. Beautiful wedding, gorgeous and sunny fall day. Congrats again Dad and Bonnie!

Fall pictures, September, 2009.

A few pictures of the kids enjoying the (limited) nice fall weather we've had so far this year...

Applefest, 2009.

Things have been so busy lately, I am pretty behind on my blogging...
Here are a few pictures of Jackson enjoying Applefest this year.

Going down the big slide with Uncle Ryan...

Jackson was a little scared --the look on his face says it all:)

Jackson and cousin Logan enjoying some of the "kiddie rides."

You have to throw darts to pop these balloons and win the game to get a prize. Both Jackson and Logan won!...twice!

"Ummm...that rock is a little big...don't ya think?"

While at a family reunion this past weekend (at Colville Park in Redwing) Jackson and Grandpa Bob went off to play at the park and toss some rocks into the river. They concluded their rock tossing fun by tossing a rather "large" rock down the river bank.

Jackson thought it was pretty cool!
