Video of Jessica Crawling

For those of you who have not seen Jessica lately, here is a short (30 second) video clip I took of her crawling today. She is also now beginning to pull herself up on things...oh man, she's getting to be such a big girl!

20 or above...

Jackson sure is enjoying the snow (I think he may be the only one in our family). He gets out almost every day, as long as the temperature outside is 20 F or above. The 20 F and above rule is something I made up...not sure why I chose 20 degrees to be the cut-off point? I guess I just figured anything less would be too cold for the kids despite the snowpants, boots, coat, hat, etc. I put them in prior to getting out the door. I swear, somedays it takes me longer to bundle them up and get them ready to go outside, than the amount of time we actually spend out there!
Here are a few shots of Jackson and daddy playing this morning... by the way, it was 33 degrees :)

More Teeth!!

Hey everybody...take a look at my two new teeth! Now, I'm up to 4 teeth all together. It won't be too long and I'll be able to enjoy that yummy "big people food" I always see momma, dadda, and big brother eating.
Check it out...they are the two top ones...

Some cute pictures of the kids...

Jessica reaching for her buddy, Carson. Check out her belly!

Jackson and Dawson playing in some tunnels.

Lisa's daycare, all busy playing.

Jessica is fascinated by the magnificent pla-doh sculpting abilities of her big brother.

Jackson and daddy built a fort by surrounding themselves with four tunnels (this was an idea Jackson and Dawson came up with during the day, and Jackson wanted to show daddy the "cool fort" they made earier that day).

Mmmm...hot chocolate sure is yummy!

When the babies are asleep for their morning naps, it is our daily routine to get outside for some fresh air and to play. Jackson and Dawson LOVE to play in the snow! They jump in it, roll in it, slide, sled, and slip in it - laughing almost the entire time we are outside. Although I did not get any pictures of the boys outside (yet), I did take a few shots of them sitting together on the couch, sipping their hot chocolates, after coming in from playing outside.

Jackson was just recently introduced to hot chocolate when we had it at a friends' house the other day (thank you very much, Heidi;)) ...And, this is not your ordinary hot chocolate, no siree, it comes equipped with Reddi Whip, candy sprinkles, and sometimes marshmallows too. Oh, and you gotta drink it with a straw!

She's on the move!

Look out mom and dad...I'm a movin' and a groovin.' Yes, Jessica is now (officially) doing the FORWARD crawl; well actually, she started it about a week ago --I just haven't been able to get on the computer since then.
Here are a few "action" shots of our little crawler =)

Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Jackson was sure excited about the first snowfall we received last Sunday. He took one look out the window and got a huge grin on his face. After staring in awe at the fresh falling snow for a few moments, he looked over at us and asked eagerly, "can I go outside and play now...?" Of course we couldn't say "no" to him, not after seeing the excitement in his eyes. So, Dad and Jackson got all bundled up --keep in mind it was only about 8:00 in the morning...(ah, yes, what you do for your kids), and headed outside for some fun in the snow.

Jackson helped daddy shovel snow...

They rolled a really big snowball...pictured here...

Jessica enjoyed the snowfall from inside the house --she's up in the window...
